Personality: As one would expect from anyone with the title of Princess, Celestia knows how to keep a calm, professional demeanor at all times. She’s served as one of Equestria’s rulers for over 1000 years and after playing the same role for so long, she plays the part very well; she sincerely cares for the well being of all of her subjects and does everything in her power to ensure that everypony is treated fairly and with respect. And after ruling her country with kindness and prosperity for so long, Celestia earned herself an unrivaled level of respect from those who’ve had the pleasure of living in her country.
She’s very well aware of how revered she is and as much as she appreciates how quick everyone is to bow to her as she walks by or treat her with the utmost respect and formalities, Celestia wishes that other ponies could ease up around her. One thousand years of praise is incredibly generous, but she would greatly prefer being more casual around them; in one occasion where she was paying Ponyville a visit, the entire town was panicking and rushing to make sure everything went smoothly for her party, going as far as topping off her cup of tea each time she took a sip. Playfully, she pretended to take a sip from her cup, only to have the town-goers accidentally overfill her cup, where she replies with a simple “gotcha.”
While things like that are usually harmless, she isn’t afraid of resorting to other methods of lightening moods and encouraging her subjects to enjoy themselves. The main example was during one very specific Grand Galloping Gala, a festival considered to be the greatest of the great parties in all of Equestria. Unfortunately, this greatest of the great proved to be the highest of the highbrow for the Princess to properly enjoy; after attending each one for the past millennium, she’s come to regard the Gala as “awful” because of how uptight the guests usually are. Knowing they would make the Gala exciting, Celestia invited Twilight Sparkle and all of her friends. Despite the destruction they caused being great, she was still able to share a laugh with them about the fun they brought to a celebration that needed it most.
Despite her playfulness, Princess Celestia is very capable of playing the role of mentor and guardian figure. As Twilight Sparkle’s teacher, she serves as the guide who tries to help the others as best as she can without directly telling them what to do; a good teacher helps her students find the answers for themselves, after all. While this may make her appear mysterious any mischievous to some, she only does so for the benefit of her little ponies.
She’s a strong believer in no one being able to change someone else except themselves…however, she also believes that sometimes, someone won’t always know the right way to go and need a nudge in the proper direction in order to do so. She views herself as the nudge everyone else needs. Whether it’s reassuring Twilight that she doesn’t need to send a letter to her every week, or if Princess Luna regrets turning into Nightmare Moon or even if Fluttershy shouldn’t have taken her pet phoenix without permission, Princess Celestia is the kind of pony who refuses to give up on a person. In almost every case, she’s willing to give a person another chance to make amends and do better. She wouldn’t be a fair princess of Equestria if she didn’t.
Strengths:
Physical: Her physical strength is never mentioned, but as a princess, she must look her best at all times. Rarely will anyone be able to take a glimpse at her and not see the regal princess she always is.
Mental/emotional: Incredibly adept at magic. In fact, her main ability is being able to raise the sun every morning and set it every evening. She’s also known to be able to do the same for the moon in her sister’s absence. And being alive for over 1000 years gives her more wisdom than any other pony in Equestria, with her sister Luna coming in second.
Weaknesses:
Physical: One can assume that in this respect, Celestia probably isn’t very strong. Maybe average strength or so, but not much more than that. As for her appearance, being so regal and professional might actually make her look intimidating to some, even though she really tries not to look that way.
Mental/emotional: Living 1000 years covers up most of what would’ve made for passable weaknesses, however that is still to say she has them. With her wisdom comes the idea that she has all of the answers; while the ponies could understand this, she could likely be interpreted as arrogant because of this.

Good morning, everypony! This is Princess Celestia speaking. Over the course of my time here, I’ve become used to these…wings I’ve been given. Has anyone determined why they feel the need to give them to everyone? That is not to say any of you aren’t deserving of wings, but these are incredibly cumbersome. I don’t understand why they saw fit to give wings to those who already have wings, but questions like these are usually answered in time.
With that said, I would love to discuss the various “experiments” we are all subject to and perhaps theorize a proper reason as to why they’re happening in the first place. Returning home doesn’t seem like an option that will present itself soon, but that’s not to say I cannot lend a hoof and an ear to those who need it. These are troubling times for us all, but sometimes the best thing to do is let all of it out. Bottling up your emotions and your worries will only make them grow into something difficult to get rid of. If we are all to be in the same village for extended periods, then I don’t see why we shouldn’t get to know and befriend each other, don’t you agree?
Third Person: Despite the clumsiness of having an extra pair of wings, Celestia was still able to fly through the skies as she always enjoyed doing. Granted, these weren’t the same skies she watched over for such a long time, but a sky with a shining sun was still a sky worth flying through.
She’s come to terms with the fact that this world operates vastly different from Equestria; whereas everything was manually done, things seemed to take care of themselves here. It was strange how she raised the sun countless times in her life as part of her daily routine, yet when that piece of her schedule was forcibly removed, she felt a bit empty inside. It was one less responsibility for her to manage and one less task she could distract herself with. She sighed; Equestria would be in great danger if she couldn’t return to it soon; with herself and her sister, Princess Luna, here and not there, there was no telling what would happen and no way to keep track of it.
But despite this, Celestia knew that her place was to be here for now; there were ponies she looked after back home and she would never leave this place without them. With very few legislative tasks to worry about, the other ponies became even higher on her list of priorities. This was past the point of a princess looking after her subjects: this was a pony looking out for another pony.
But such was a task Celestia would happily take on, royalty or otherwise. Her years have taught her that ponies and people can be incredibly alike and incredibly different; there would be no way to differentiate unless a proper interaction was done. And for what it’s worth…there were plenty to interact with here, pony or otherwise.
